ngram is a native macOS code editor for people who ship code with agents. 0.1.2 is the second beta.
- Git: a folder with several repositories shows which one the panel is in, and every action says what it did.
- The thread: references open in the editor, calls of one kind group into one row, Copy says it copied, explore reports read as Markdown, and the header's speed counts running subagents.
- Editor and themes: Markdown highlighting is fixed, wide lines get a bar, Markdown wraps, colors no longer flash, and every color comes from the theme in light and dark.
- Predictions: one name per feature, predictions on files up to 1 MiB, and current ChatGPT models with working tool calls.
- Usage: paid 5-hour and weekly limits refill continuously, so the agent waits and carries on instead of stopping.
- Privacy: secrets are cut from what leaves the app, and ordinary code is no longer.
Requires macOS 11 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel.
